Introducing SAT AI DIRECT V2.0 - Ingest XDCAM and P2 Media to Avid Shared Storage
SAT AI DIRECT moves file based content directly to Avid shared storage. Direct allows clips to be ingested immediately to the Avid Editors Bin. Using Web Services for Interplay, the clips are checked into the collaborative Interplay workgroup. As with all AutoIngest products the full metadata set is integrated into the Avid Clip format. Additionally metadata can quickly be refined using AutoIngest's batch editor tool. Metadata rules can also be invoked to automatically refine the Avid clip name based on metadata fields.
PROXY with UNCOMPRESSED AUDIO - The Best XDCAM PROXY Workflow for Avid Editors
Are you using a Sony XDCAM camera today? Now try AutoIngest Version 4.4 or AI Direct Version 2.0 to bring together the power of low bit rate proxy editing with the clarity of uncompressed audio. AutoIngest brings XDCAM Proxy clips directly into shared storage or into Avid's Interplay Workgroup. AutoIngest automatically replaces the proxy quality audio with uncompressed audio. The power of this workflow is the ability to allow quality editing with large amounts of footage, without large amounts of expensive shared storage. After the editing decisions are made, use your Avid to batch import just the high quality video you need to finish the project.
XDCAM customers can now use an entirely file based workflow beginning with proxy video and uncompressed audio through project completion.
